e4od tranny problems

hello there, I have a 1995 f350 2wd dually with a 7.3 powerstroke and e4od auto that's giving me dramas. the codes we got say theres speed sensor faults but after replacing it and the neautral switch several times the problem is still there. what happens is while driving it seems like it goes into neautral, you can put it into 2nd and when the speed slows down enough it drives and you can put it into d. dropping it out of overdrive sometime sorts it out as well. I found that if you stop and switch the truck off and wait a few minutes and restart it and drive off it works fine. its a intermittent problem that's driving me crazy .any help would be great thanks
