Hey guys,

I'm trying to find a power window regulator and motor for my sons 97 f350 crew cab right rear door. Everything that I have come across has either been a manual window regulator, or I just find the motor by itself. I have looked on Rockauto. com, Fordparts.com, called the local auto parts stores and no luck! I hate to go to a salvage yard and take the chance of buying another pos that doesn't work. Any ideas were I can find this dang part?!?!?!!? Any and all info is greatly appreciated!!

 

I have found that anything to do with the rear doors is hard to find. Salvage yard may be your only choice unfortunately, and still probably won't be easy to find there. Maybe some one with a good source will chime in.

 

Car-part.com used regulator and buy a new motor.is your regulator bad or just the motor?

 

I believe its just the motor. I'm unable to move it up or down and I can't even pull up on it to get it to move or push down on it to move it. That's why I was thinking regulator as well.

 

i'm little help with finding parts, to cheap to start looking. but if you take the 4 screws out of the panel you will be able to lift it from the inside. there is a bar. i pushed it up and used some duct tape on the top of the window to the door when rain was coming. it's a temp fix with some clean up. but better than getting seats wet.

i believe napa has the regulators and gear sets listed. getting them may be a different story.

 

Check the wiring in the rubber boot that goes from the door to the cab before you buy a motor. That is a very common place for the wires to break on the crew cabs.
