Radiator Core support shopping
I've finally got started on the process of cleaning up, painting, and rerouting the wiring which involves removing the entire dog house and engine. While cutting off the radiator core support bolts with a trusty saws-all, the vibration resulted in a dustpan full of rust. It appears it was rusting from the inside out as well as the inner fenderwell under the battery. It was totally gone and the PO had riveted a piece of metal over it. So the hunt begins for replacements and seems the cheapest place to get one is Blue oval since shipping is $50+ ($85 with both inner fender wells but I need to call and verify) versus LMC's $125 just for the core support.
My question is: Has anybody found a better price and what is the difference between a "2-hole and 4-hole support"? Other than one has 2 more holes.. My 76 was originally a 6cyl w/ac but is now a non-ac with a 302..

hey mike you might want to ck your local jy core support 73-79 for 300 or 302 ,,,if you find a dent it will fit,,,clean it up,paint it and walla money saved towards other goodies
