Need help with a part !! Hub Lock
Removed my ESOF hub locks to clean and regrease..While assembleing the second one ,,the snap ring that holds the center spline in place ,went flying....I Know....Stuipid hurts !!!..
Well ,i completely emptied my whole garage and could not find..It went to a black hole somewhere..
Cannot buy snap ring seperately..Have to buy the whole Hub Lock assy..
Does anyone have a Hub Lock they want to sell or an unserviceable one that i can get the snap ring from ??
Any of you dealership techs have an unserviceable one in the scrap bin at work ..i already talked to the local dealer tech and they did not have one laying around..
Fully prepared to purchase new one due to my own act of stupid..but it's a pretty steep price to pay for a snap ring..

Thanks,,,I thought about that ,,but not willing to put a no name ,unknown ,probably chinese junk snap ring on my truck.
Throw that beast into 4-wheel in the sand, while pulling my toyhauler, and that snap ring doesn't hold up and i'm looking at a much bigger hit to my wallet than just a new Hub lock.

Are you certain that the factory ford snap ring is made in the US? I am not.
Take the good side hub apart and take the snap ring to Grainger or a bearing shop and see if they can match it, and then ask to see the box it came out of to ID the country of origin.
