Hey guys(and gals). First time to ask a question here. Been learning lots about my truck at FTE. Here it goes. I have read threads telling how to set the radio to display the time v/s the station or cd track number. I've tried them all. I'm at my wits end, I can't seem to figure this out(short of a Big Fat Hammer ). Don't get me wrong, this is the fifth new Ford I've owned, I loved em all! Just hate the radio on this one. Anyway, the truck is a 2003 SD Crew Cab XLT 4x4. Any more ideas out there that haven't already been posted would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks and I'll try to keep my next post shorter!
Hi; I'm also looking for help with a clock problem. I just purched a 2003 Excursion with the AM/FM stereo single CD player. It is the same exact system that is in my husbands 2002 F-250. My radio will not switch to clock mode until I push the "clock" button, where as my husbands switches over after a few seconds. I have asked the dealer & all they say is that my radio is normal. Did you get any answers on how to make the clock show after turning the engine off?
On my 01 F150, with the key out of the ignition, the clock on the AM/FM/single CD radio can be displayed, for a few seconds, by pressing the RDS button. You can also insert a CD into the deck, with the key out, by pressing the RDS button but I think that's an unplanned feature.
