1970 Antenna
Hello everyone,
I'm new and I have a question I'm trying to find out what the best way is to fish an antenna wire threw the firewall of my truck a 1970 f100. I just got this truck a week ago and it had no antenna I have a new one I just cant seem to get the wire threw the holes any help would be great.

It's really difficult to push a rope so you're gonna have to go fishing.
Undo a wire coat hanger and fashion a short hook on the end. Insert and dangle the antenna lead through the cowl and then use the coat hanger to hook and draw it into the cab.
You can do it.

There's more than one way to 'skin a cat.'
Unplug antenna lead wire from radio, tie a long piece of twine to it. Remove antenna from cowl panel.
Tie twine to new antenna lead wire, pull twine from inside cab, lead wire will easily feed thru hole in cowl panel.
Feeding new lead wire thru hole in cowl panel without twine or coat hanger method is a PITA!

There is no antenna there right now just a hole the old wire is inside the cab. I tried last night for about a hour till i got frustrated. No luck. I will try again tomorrow and let you guys know how it goes.
