When you remove the old antenna wire from the radio, tie a string to it. Then when you tie the string to the new cable, you can pull it back through to the radio. But if you don't have the old antenna, the wire feeds down inside the right fender then through a hole in the cowl panel. You might be able to see the hole from the inside, it's above or behind (pic isn't clear) the right kick panel.
You might be able to feed a coat hanger or welding rod through the hole from the inside with a piece of string on it...

I was going to advise you to remove the glove box, too. If you don't have any of the old antenna wire, work a smaller wire through the hole and attach your new antenna wire to it in order to help you pull it through. The new antenna wire is just stiff enough with the connector on the end to give you problems getting it through that tight space easily.
I'm hooked on good music. When I picked up my truck a couple weeks ago that old AM Radio that didn't work was yanked. It took about 3 hours to:
1. Pull intrument Bezel.
2. Cut dash hole to fit newer radio cages.
3. Pull new antenna through
4. Pull door panels and install speakers.
5. Wire everything up.
It's pretty much that simple. There is a lot of room to work under these dashes so it made the instally really easy.
While I was at it I installed a glove box light and ash tray light. I store my iPod cable in the ash tray which I lined with carpet side velcro.
It's seems funny to have iPod sitting on the bench seat going down the road.... but with Polk Speakers in the doors I have some great tunes for my old truck.

Well you know your music stuff! :)
In the late 90's I put about $300 worth of Super DynaMat in my '75 and added an extra gasket around the door like the new cars have and all sorts of stuff like that and I still don't feel as tho it's quiet enough for speakers in my pickup.
Even a quiet car is too noisy IMO.
YMMV :)
But the main thing is... all that excited talk about nothing between the songs that gets on my nerves real quick. :/
LOL - Trucks can be noisy and that just means you have to turn the music up.
Add to that the fact I can't hear as good as I used to and it becomes a loud roar going down the street.
