Eaton ELocker availability?
Been doin some reading/surfin at http://www.pickuptruck.com/html/sto...aton/page1.html and http://www.eatonposi.com/prod1.htm. I see the Fords there and read the words prototype, but what I want to know is when is the thing gonna be available to the public for Fords? With as many Fords as there are out there, what in the heck are they waitin 4? Any body know of some dates?
I would love to swap one out in my 2002 F150 XL 4.2 w/3.55 ratio and 8.8 ring guage rear. Especially after already having installed a locker. Whats an extra $700.

Eaton ELocker availability?
They probably don't even have a release date yet. I asked about it last year, because an ad for it in the magazine pictured a ford truck. But they came out with it for the Dana's before the fords, even though the fords are a plenty, there are many more trucks using Dana 44 (dodge ford jeep) and 60 (GM, Dodge Ford) axles including all those darned jeeps, among others.

Eaton ELocker availability?
Just wanted to update ya'll on the ELocker. I finally got an e-mail response back from the folks at Eaton and they are gonna start shipping for the Ford 8.8's the second week of July. Yippee!
