Question Quite muffler recommendation please

Hi there I ave a1976 f350 s/cs it has dual exhaust right now but the sound is so Effie loud it isn't even enjoyable can someone please tell me what muffler I should get to quite this beast down, thx a lot...Jen

Walker QuietFlow SS series worked for me. They sound good but no drone. You can still hear it when you stand on it.

A crossflow type muffler will suffice you fine...be it Magnaflow or etc.

I would vote borla. The only problem is they are expensive. Just enough sound to hear them but deep and relatively quiet.

Ok cool! So can I basically choose any muffler and make it fit?/ work on my truck or does it have to be specific to me make and model.. Yes I'm new to all of this like brand spanking new... thx Jen

I used this one on my truck. It is pretty quiet.

Why not take it to a local muffler shop. Tell them what you want and it should be done right. Unless you have a tubing bender and are able to weld your probably going to run into issues.

If its got decent dual exhaust you may be able to get by using muffler clamps from summit or autozone.

yea thanks guys!! she is going in on Monday, see i'm in Canada but i cant believe the price difference in parts the dyno max super turbo muffler i was quoted 372.00 for it here, i just bought it from summit for 128.00 unreal!! but yes i'm taking her in on Monday to have a look at options. thank all for you superb help and advice
