So my truck runs like crap. Been running like crap for a while. But that is neither here nor there. Done the tune up and ect. I have a real nice odb2 scanner that tells me what the engine is doing. Timing, rpm, speed, 02 sensor, o2 sensor 2 ect. Does anyone have a list of roughly what the stats would be for a "stock engine" I just want to see if everything is in line or if there is something thats off.
If you have a real nice OBD II scanner why won't it give you the codes, to help you fix the problem????
Only time I have seen a NO CODE running bad is fuel pumps & filters. Other than maybe a lean code.
checked for vacuum leak. All bases are covered. No exhaust leak. I checked the fuel pressure today because i was able to convince myself that was the problem. wrong. Fuel pressure was in spec for engine on and engine off. Didnt drop while engine was off. Have no codes. The only time it throws a code is because a vac line becomes loose. I am lost for words. I am ready to rip out the engine and do an over haul if it wasnt for the fact i have no where to work on it at.
