I made my brackets with a piece of angle and some rectangle tubing and bolted them together, then dinged the threads so they wouldn't loosen. I too dont have a welder. Hit the metal scrap yard. Maybe cost you $20. Just my 0.02
Who was the company that is making IC pipes for OBS trucks now days??? Anybody?
Hey Strokin. I confirmed via email yesterday this guy will fab and ship pipes for $225 delivered. It's the same guy over on PSN FordPride mentioned. The guy stated it takes about three weeks and he takes Pay pal. Good Luck.
Just a FYI. The email above is Chris Lehmon and it take a bit longer than 3 WEEKS. Closer to 3 MONTHS. I have bought 2 pair of his pipes and they are nice pieces for the money, but dont be in a rush to get them. He is in the service and does not have alot of free time when he is state side. And when he is not state side, well forget about it. LOL
As for making the mounting brackets. No need for a welded, but it does make things easier
here is my Early 99 I/C and E99 spider with Chris's pipes/clamps and RiffRaffs Boots. I have about $500 total into it
Just some 1/4 flat stock bolted to the rad support. Then drilled and tapped the lower hole to bolt the I/C to it

2x2 angle(3/16) w 1 x1/4 flat welded to it
Nice... That I can do. On a good note, my buddy at work has a tig welder and can hook me up if needed.
