Worth repainting?
I have a 1989 F350. It has a newer engine in it with low miles. It has no rust and no dents or damage anywhere. The interior is nice also.
The paint however is flaking in a couple of places. Plus, I don't like dual paint tones they had back then. New ones look much nicer.
How much would it cost to repaint it and is it worth it? I think I have years of life on this truck.

That's a personal judgment call and the cost of painting is all over the ballpark.
If I planned to keep a truck for say another 5-10 years, I would paint it. I would not get one of the $100 or el cheapo paint jobs. they look like heck on close inspection and they are not durable.
I haven't had anything painted in a long time but would guess for a decent paint job you are looking at $1K-$2K. course custom paint is anybodys guess.
