Unlifting my SD

I've got a 99 SD 4 door short bed 4x4 w/ the 7.3 l diesel.

I have had a 6 inch pro-comp lift since 2004. I'm tired of climbing in and out of the dang thing.

I would like a 2 inch lift instead. it's hard to find kits that aren't add-a-leafs or blocks.

any suggestions on a 2 inch spring lift ?

Don't have your original springs yet? I think you are going to be very hard pressed to find a 2" lift with springs.

Are there any shops around that will re curve your current springs? That would probably be the easiest way to go.

You could always run a 2" shackle hanger kit with your stock leaf springs which will have an oem ride to it since your not adding a stiff leaf to your existing stock leaf spring pack. For the rear grab a stock F350 block and you should be good to go.

THANK YOU FOR THE RESPONSES.

A little more research has revealed the availability of front leaf springs but no rears.

The stock springs went to the outfit that did the 6" lift in 2004. Long gone. The stock ford springs rode much worse than the procomp. not interested in having them back.

Since you don't have the stock rear one snor want them anymore I would suggest Deaver springs for a soft ride.
