I have been trying to figure out an occasional hard start when the truck is warm. It's a 06 F350 STC has been done and dummy plugs were done a year ago. It had gotten pretty consistently long hard starts and I decided to start tearing into it and checking things out. I changed it the oil and have had 0 problems for the past 1000 miles.
Now it has started up again and every once in awhile 5-8 sec warm starts. When it does it i can stop wait 1 sec hit the starter and it cranks immediately. When it does this The icp seems to take alittle longer to build up pressure. Once it does it fires right up. At idle the icp 586 and ipr 22.8 are normal. It being so intermittent is frustrating and hard to diagnose. The ficm is new 48v very steady Alternator and batteries are new. Starter turns 160 rpm to start.

Any suggestions ?

Do an air test on the HPOP system. Does it have any codes? I'm guessing not.
No codes... When its warm and I hit the starter it seems to stutter as it starts. That's the best way I can describe it. Like its trying to start getting faster and faster then it catches. It's kinda weird
I had a mechanic do them. They were supposed too do the dummy plugs and the stand pipes. They did the STC and oil cooler all at the same time. Guess I could pull it down and inspect.
