So I was looking around in My Ford Owner site making a profile etc. and I noticed that there was an exclamation point for my vehicle. After clicking on it it stated there is a recall on reprogramming the powertrain control module.
I have a born on date of 5/13 for my vehicle...and funny the dealer did not mention it the other day when I brought in my truck. The ID for the recall is 13EO3.

Has to do with downstream o2 sensors not reading correctly causing too high emissions. Remember the word "certain", your truck may or may not fall under this recall.

I have a 2014 Eco-boost 70K dropped to 1st gear twice in 2019..scary stuff. Contacted Ford says my truck is not effected...well I can tell anyone that it certainly is. Told me to take it to a dealer that will cost $250.00 to diagnose and if they don't find the problem then its $250.00 from my pocket. My second Ford, maybe my last. Unfortunate as I am happy with the truck in all other areas..well gas mileage not so much! Anyone else experience a problem in the 2014's downshifting like this?
