Been a while but just thought I'd drop by and say hi!
Trucks been all good and planning on removing the BedTred and getting the LineX sprayed in. Planning to get a camping trip in before the end of this month.

I know the feeling. Slightly different version, however my attorney has been in the business for 25 years, and he has never had a case where Medi-Cal has delayed sending him a total bill. That is why my settlement is in two parts. We are still waiting for them to stop dragging their feet and give us a final bill. We settled in May, and here it is August, and I am still waiting for the second part of the settlement.

I was on the way home today, some guy thought I cut him off so he followed me into the parking lot (ARCO West Grand Ave, Oakland,CA) while pretending to "RAM" his Dodge truck into my truck. When I park he parks and runs up to my door while I am opening it and tried to pull it open but I had my hand on the edge also and got between him and my door. He them pushes me and I just throw my classic 3 punch combo, Right hook left hook right hook. He then falls straight back onto the ground and i look at the 2 passengers in the car, one woman one man, they say noting and people who saw what happened said that guy deserves it. He did not get up on his own until i went into the store got my candy and came out, his buddies were putting him into the car. HE apologized and I went back and apologized and we shook hands. He looked like he was on speed or maybe drunk but I smelled no liquor on him. The lady in the car asks why I had to do what I did so I apologized to her and said I did not want to do this but he assaulted me first and I am not one to turn the other cheek. I'm going back tomorrow to get video clips from the surveillance cam !!! August 4th 2013 between 6:35pm - 6:45pm

Wow, sounds like an interesting night. I doubt anything will come of it, but it never hurts to be prepared.

Yes it does. What really makes me mad is that there is nothing we can do except wait. You can't sue the government. Also, why me? As previously stated, my attorney has never seen them drag their feet before in the 25 years he has been an attorney, so why am I the unlucky one?

Got word from CalPers finally today will have a check in two weeks, they were sitting on it for some damn reason. Having the check good and bad. Even after I get I can't spend it, state of California says I owe them $14,300 pertains too my dads death or some bs like that. The paperwork is about 40 pages long finished that today along providing tax returns/pay stubs/how much my personal property is worth etc. Still not out of the woods yet Jim. Btw in case I didn't mention it hope the second part of your settlement comes through soon.

Sounds like your dad owed the state money. Doesn't make sense though how you are responsible for his debts. Just another reason I don't like California. I am hoping my final settlement check comes this month.

Joe, glad you were finally able to drive your Ford, I am sure it has been too long since you drove it last time. hope the stop leak works. maybe it is just a valve cover gasket. That would be an easy fix.

Outch Joe, are you sure you want to run stop leak thru the cooling system, may plug the Oil cooler too, you have the 6.0l or 7.3 ? In the Long run I would get the OEM head gasket and do it right. just sayin

I got one for you Nor Cal peeps. History reminder. Last I remember, the Great Mall was the old Ford plant. According to my 67's VIN, it was born there.
