Came home after a stressful day, and our house had no power. Grrr. tree limb took out the main power line to the pole. Called CL&P and with in the hour they had the line fixed and power on WOO HOO!!

Good morning Andy.

The utility companies are usually very responsive to downed wires if there hasn't been a major event.
Crews are ready to roll and replace a single pole. transformer or service drop.
When there is an ice storm or hurricane, damage needs to be assessed and prioritized.
