c6 300 I6 3-speed automatic code K
Hi everybody;
Looking for some help with my 1987 Ford F-250 XLT Lariat. It has a 5.8L 351 Windsor HO w/cruise control, c6 3-speed automatic transmission with column shift, no tilt. My problem is that when I shift out of park (or into any other gear) it is very difficult to move the shifter. I have already replaced the lock cylinder. While I had the column apart I also replaced the internal springs, levers and plates for the shifter and key start ignition cylinder. The column was tricky but not too bad to figure out. I don't know anything about the transmission or how the shift linkage works; so, any information anyone can give me about this issue would be greatly appreciated.
