I put the 31 row in mine but it was a challenge getting it in there. My temps are 170 to 180 pulling hard in 90° weather.
As stated above, I have found that a head wind will help keep temps down and a tail wind will increase the trans temp.
Glenn, you have any pictures of your IC/trans cooler? I think I have the 31 row and right now I don't think there is room between it and the grill. Space at the top between rad and tran cooler is like 1/8", I don't remember at the bottom but should be fairly tight also. Thank you.
I went with the tru cool 4739,My question is can I keep my stock cooler in and add the tru cool also,so trans. to stock cooler to the tru cool and then back to the transmission ?
I recommend the flow go to the cooler in the radiator, then to an air to oil cooler, then back to the trans. Three coolers could add too much restriction, which would reduce cooling and reduce lubrication flow.

I'll look for those pictures Jim. I put mine in between rad and condenser and yes, its only a 1/8" or so. I put some rubber weather stripping in between there so it didn't rub, I hope that will do the trick. I also moved the condenser forward just a little by bending the lines but not by much, didn't want to break them.
