How does it work? I have a guy that wants to buy the boat, using it. When I get the money, he says he'll have a shipping agent pick the boat up.

Open a Pay pal account. It hooks to your checking account. I have a separate account for pay pal.
When you buy or sell it's an electronic transfer. Money lands in the pay pal account, you transfer it to your checking account
Look at his pay pal account, it should have verifications on it to show his history of paying

Morning Pat, Charlie, Rob, Larry, Wade, Brandon, Randy and anyone that stops by.
Pat, it has been awhile since I used PayPal for anything but it does work great.

I have an account, haven't used it in a while. I'll have to put my checking account on it, just has a C/C on it now.

It works well. You can still have an issue, but then you have a way to dispute it.

I know that's what makes me nervous about the whole deal. I wouldn't do a damn thing until I had the money in my hands!

Still the same. Boat and tittle sit until the money clears.
Big difference tho. Pay pal is instant transfer, a check takes up to 10 days, and even then, if it's not a certified check, they can put a stop payment on it

Yeah, true. Well, I'll talk to this guy direct, and get a better feel for the whole thing, I need to let him know that the bank has the title, and they'll have to send it to him after we pay off the remainder.
