George - Since Charlie told me to watch his back while he's gone, you'll have to follow my advice... Get some duct tape and a flash light with a red lense. Tape the flashlight on the side of the truck next to the tail light. Have someone sit in the bed of the truck and turn the flash light on and off as needed when you stop or signal a turn.
Problem solved!

No doubt! $30 for 2 u-joints with lifetime warranty, couldn't be happier I was prepared to spend $300+ on a new clutch kit, throwout bearing/slave cylinder, resurfaced flywheel, etc... Now all I gotta do is change out a u-joint.. Decided to do both while I was at it.

The other one is still good, I will just save it as a spare in case I break one doing something stupid
The one that is bad is the original sealed u-joint.. I couldn't believe that with 198k miles on the truck!

That's good news Brandon. With the money saved you can????
Got TS fixed on the 86 found a section broken underneath the cab where the insulation was pierced with a test light. Probably when the hook up for the 5th wheel was done who knows when.
