Hi Charlie. Lost the left TS/ brake light on my 86. No power to the bulb, tracing back comes out of TS switch, power to junction under hood, then nothing about 8' further back. When I get ambitious I'll check more.

George - Since Charlie told me to watch his back while he's gone, you'll have to follow my advice... Get some duct tape and a flash light with a red lense. Tape the flashlight on the side of the truck next to the tail light. Have someone sit in the bed of the truck and turn the flash light on and off as needed when you stop or signal a turn.

Hey Rob. I did something like that when the head lights went out on my 37 Chevy as I was going home from the bar. Had a flashlight with a magnetic base that I put on the hood. Cops were not impressed. Good thing I knew them and didn't have far to go.....
