What wheels to go with?

Im already way ahead of myself here but im trying to decide what wheels and tires I want. Not sure what look im going for. Do I want more tire or more wheel? Can people post some pics of what they went with on their rides? I want polished or chrome colored. No black. The truck will be stock height but im leveling the front so it wont have any rake. 1959 F100 2wd

The truck is going to be a cruiser and on occasion drag race my buddies down at our strip. So I think going for a aggressive look with tires probably isn't a good idea haha.

Anyway, any help with suggestions is appreciated

BTW- don't want to break the bank so was thinking 180 a wheel max. Mickey Thompson classic II or III's for example

I'm thinking 18" Boss 338s for my '57. I' be seen very few pictures of these trucks with really nice wheels so any pictures would be appreciated. I think an old style 15" wheel would look kinda small In the wheel wells. I'm also thinking maybe some D-Ring black steel wheels for kinda of a NASCAR look, but again I'm afraid 15s would look a little small.

For a custom look, chrome reverse with baby moons aren't bad. Prolly not wild enough for what you want but just a suggestion.

Just had Hot August Nights here in Reno. @6000 cars and I only saw 1 fridge! Pretty disappointing as I was really hoping to see a few with different wheel choices in person. I have pretty much decided upon the 18" Boss torque thrust style but don't have $1600 for wheels and tires on a vehicle that doesn't run yet!

I have however come across a set of Chevy rally wheels, 15x8s. (S-10 frame so they will bolt right on) Gonna see what they look like this weekend. I noticed quite a few of the pro touring style cars were running this style of wheel and with the right tire they look pretty cool. Small hubcaps with some white lettering on the tires. Kinda like an old cop car on steroids! Anybody out there running a similar wheel?

PM me if anyone is looking for the Chev rally wheels, I am in the OE reconditioned wheel industry and our company reproduces these wheels-I can give you best cost available
