Replace Tie Rod
Been getting some noise in my 99 2WD. The front end has a knocking sound when turning the wheel back and forth. Was quoted $600 to replace all the tie rod components. This sound right?

Is that with parts? Not terrible... the only special tool you should need is a pitman arm puller and you can rent one from a local auto parts store. It's a very easy job, I'd say 1-2 hours worth

What did yours cost? Local shop quited me $400 with parts
