Try putting a ball cap on the dashboard

Already took care of it. Electrical tape over the sensor.

Kind if a suck thing to have to do to a brand new truck in order to make a basic function work properly. Poor engineering by Ford.

My 2014 F250 has the same dash lighting problem, no back lighting and the needles go dark. Towing and not having access to your gauges on cloudy days is not comforting. I resorted to installing a scan gauge to keep track of the vitals. Should not of had to resort to this on a new vehicle. Poor engineering on Ford's part.
