Difficult to insert the oil dipstick...

Difficult to insert the oil dipstick...

On someone else's truck, we had a helluva time getting the engine oil dipstick inserted back into the tube.

Anybody every experience this before?

Anyone know the cause and fix?

Likely your bracket is bent or tweaked, try pushing the tube back and towards the passenger's side and firewall.

I asked this question awhile back. Big Al was right. All I had to do was push the tube toward the cab and all is good now. Thanks big Al

I asked a couple of years ago and got the same answer and the same results.
Slides in easy after I pushed it back a bit,
