Cleaned Turbo now ZERO boost
OK, here is the deal. I pulled and cleaned the Turbo on my 06 Powerstroke. took it for a test drive and it has no boost. After I cleaned and put it back together I did test to make sure it was operating properly by removing the snap ring and pushing on the actuator piston then watching to see the vanes move. The turbo is whistling much louder than before the cleaning but not building boost. I am getting two codes on my Edge tuner p0101 Mass airflow and p0401 EGR. not sure if they are related to the Turbo problem or not. I only drove it a short distance so I'm not sure if the codes are correct. Any help would be appreciated! thanks!

Was it working before you took it apart? And if so start by back tracking everything you touched and making sure you got it all back right, make sure the VGT valve electrical got hooked back up and check your exhaust connections for leaks. Also check the MAP hose and make sure its connected, its located above the evaporator housing on the passenger side and is attached to the intake manifold via a rubber hose.

Brett, it was working but had a dead spot when I took off from a stop light. It was a little dirty but no huge wear problems that I could detect.I know the wiring is hooked up (first thing I checked). The exhaust did have a small leak but I repaired that. I did just clean the Air filter so I will check the MAF sensor maybe I knocked it loose (thanks Rusty)
