I am new to ford trucks well actually trucks in general and new to this forum
I just bought a 1991 F-250 Super Duty 7.3 IDI diesel Truck
Just noticed today after starting the engine and moving the truck a little that coolant was leaking from the bottom of the truck.
I got under and took a picture of where it seemed to be coming from.
Does anyone have any ideas of what it could be. I am pretty handy around cars but not trucks. Would it be something that I should get a mechanic to look at?
Hey, welcome to FTE and to our lil' corner!. Start the engine and look at all the coolant hoses above this spot, specially the ones coming from the water pump (check both the connections and the condition of the hoses, cracks, etc...), also check the pump bearing and weeping hole (any of these symptoms will indicate the pump requires replacement).

Where's this weeping hole? I got a pinhole leak but its more by the radiator and that's definite because I just replaced all hoses and the water pump and double sealed it with no leaks from it.
