Check Engine Light

As some of you know, I just got my dad an 08 F250 with 157k miles where all matainence was done at Ford. Bringing it home I went through one regan cycle I think "cleaning exhaust filter" showed up. That was approx 400 miles ago. He was out and about and said it popped up then when away quick, followed by the check engine light.

Trying to put my hands on an AE to pull the codes, but that may take a bit.

Any other ideas?

Another question on this. Does the Ford AE bundle I can get for right at 400 bucks cover everything from the 7.3-6.7?

check engine light can be a number of things, just hard to say for sure. some of the generic codes can be read at autozone/napa places so you might try that and see what it is.
