OK to double up on gaskets on Dana 44 TTB?
I installed a 6" Rough Country lift over the weekend. I rebuilt a used Dana 44 diff with 4.56's and installed at the time I did the lift, however, I didn't use RTV. I used the gasket supplied by the ring gear manufacturer and now I have a very slow leak (just enough to annoy the crap out of me).
My question is this... is it possible to loosen the differential up enough to slip two new gaskets behind the housing? I REALLY don't want to have to pull everything completely apart unless I absolutely have to.
Secondly, is it advisable to double-up on gaskets? I can't see there being much of an issue since all of the moving parts are internal to the differential and not the TTB frame. But maybe someone has done something like this before?
Thanks!

No way you are going to slip another gasket in there and have it seal up. Those things are hard to seal even when you do it correctly.. I have used RTV and gaskets alike and I get them to seal about 1/4 of the time. There is a high-dollar gasket (like $25 or $30) on eBay I would like to try but I am too cheap.
