My Excursion Remodel
Enjoy!
AS you can see, my inverter is REALLY big and we did not know where to put it as the amplifier were going under the seats in the second row. I gave my car audio installer (Doug Gibson from Coastal Motorsports in Orlando) a word on the theme for this install: HIDE! I want all the bits and pieces hidden from view. I love the clean, kinda built-in look.

Doug discovered that with a little bit on pushing and shoving and even slight modification to the factory air box, the large inverter would fit underneath the air conditioning unit behind the factory panel on the passenger side rear of the truck:

The wiring still needs to be run this this monster pure sine power inverter, but it is locked into place and will do just fine behind the panel and above the passenger side rear wheel well.

The power for the inverter will be run to a remote location in the rear of the truck for tailgating duties, and to this power port in the rear of the center console. We also put RCA connectors here for the use of future video accessories:

This is what it looked like before, Doug did a great job breaking the factory piece down to make it look "Original Equipment-like":

OK, remember the F650 dash piece that we have been working on? I found out that we had to relocate the adjustable pedals switch because the F650 panel actually includes that area that switch would normally occupy:

Doug installed in on the side of the F650 panel like I've seen it done on the Riff-Raff site:

Doug installed my two bass level controller ***** on the small rounded panel parallel to the steering wheel. They are then somewhat out of the way to keep "Guests" from trying to boom my stereo too much and breaking something. One **** is for the stealth box 10" subwoofer mounted under the center console. The second is for the 13.5" subwoofer mounted in the area of the spare tire.

After quite a bit of modifying and custom work, Doug got the tracvision a7 satellite dish installed on the roof of the truck(Yes, he had to mod it to keep rails from rubbing roof paint). I am soo excited about the sat tv system especially since football starts this week!!!

We are making progress! What do you guys think? Am I forgetting anything, what would you add?
They are 22x10.5 and the backspacing is 4.75 I am very happy with how they turned out! Thanks man!
wpnaes: YES! That would be awesome!!!

This stuff will surely get stolen OR the entire truck will disappear.
But I hope no fools try! Me and Sig Sauer might hafta have a "Come to Jesus" meetin' with em! Ha!
Here are some more detail pics of the dash: I am soo excited this is completion week!!!!
Here's the F650 and us tying to figure out exact placement:

Here's a dash shot, I cannot wait to see this done!!!!
Multiple battery terminals now installed so all high power devices/equipment has its' own power/grounding run:

Each battery has a set of Stinger Expert Battery Terminals. The positive terminal has a voltmeter on it:

The HUGE power inverter is hidden inside the jack cover under the rear air conditioning module:

Doug put the satellite tv receiver in the drivers' side 3rd row side storage bin:

The subwoofer is in a custom box that is kinda octagon on the outer ring(thereby Doug could keep the 1" thick MDF strong sub enclosure). It sounds unbelievable!

Here's a profile shot:

The Ford factory spare tire cover fits over this enclosure (although it's a shame to hide it's beauty from the world). I also have a grill for the sub to keep the long excursion(pun intended) from smacking the tire cover.
