I have to know why not? Gt-40, gt-40p, e7te they all work on carbed 351 motors, why wouldn't carbed work on efi. Other than the fact that there is nothing special at all about the 4v head as far as performance why wouldn't you be able to put it on a efi? Later
I think he was mistaken, as I mentioned everything including 302 heads will bolt to a carbed 351 and you can bolt a efi manifold to a carbed truck. Either way the ho 351 head is not a performance part in any way. Later

I don't believe we were talking about the 385 family. High power days? I don't remember the 460 debuting until the 70's which was the smog era, and created alot of low hp big blocks for large cars and trucks. However, you may be thinking of the earliest combos with dove heads and such. If so, I don't know. Why won't they work?
And sorry to have to say this there cheddar89 but all you did was add more misinformation to this trainwreck of a thread, I don't know if anything stated here on these 3 pages about the '80s 351HO motor is correct.
I supplied the cam specs per ford tech manual...I was in one of many ford training courses back then lol
Yeah that's probably the only correct info here, everything else is old wives tales and fables. The fact this motor only made 210hp with this cam is sad but it's mainly because of the cork like exhaust and smog controls, when relaesed from those restrictions it flows SOOO much more air the carb has to be rejetted.
Well i stumbled apon it and it was all kinda jiberish so i figured i would confuse some more people i got a stock 351w abd it has those heads on it so mabe i am just special (ed)
