Dash lights
Well all my dash lights worked yesterday, I put in my radio and now none of them work. No flicker or anything. if i put power on the main wire with an alligator clip all the lights turn on but nothing happens when i turn on the headlight switch. The switch is new but could I have burned the dimmer or something in the switch? all other lights work

Yes that is exactly what I did, crossed the blue and red striped one with the radio ground, still no dash lights with the radio on or off, and i cant find any burned wires or fuses. Thank you for the reply what do you think?

I assume you have since corrected the problem, removing the previous connection to the BLUE with RED stripe wire and grounding the radio to the dash properly?
With the headlight switch pulled out to one of the two stops, turn the **** all the way counter clockwise just before it clicks into place to turn on the dome light, and check for power on BOTH sides of the instrument panel illumination fuse. How were you checking it previously?
