T98a Input Bearing Retainer Question
I'm rebuilding my T98a and was doing the final buttoning up when the input bearing retainer cracked all to pieces.
Now I can't find a new one for the T98 anywhere.
Would the input bearing retainer for a T18 be the same part? It appears the case is the same but not sure if the bearing retainer is a direct swap.

It is possible an early T18 would work, they say they used the same case and top cover:

T-98: 1956/64 all trucks / T-18: 1965/67 F100/250 2WD & F350 240/300 I-6 & 352 / 1968/72 F100/250 2WD & F350 240/300 I-6 & 360/390 / T-19: 1968/72 F500/600 I-6 & V8 (gas).
