I have run into a few times, although it seems at those times, the FTE link doesn't work. Several times I have posted and it did not go through and occasionally I can not connect to FTE or the page that opens in not current.

I had this problem too about 10 times when I was trying to post to a thread. I think it might be a network traffic issue. I noticed that response gets much better in the evening. I use AOL and I blame some of it on them but I'm still using dial up too.

Are any of you who are having the problem (I am) running Safari browser on a Mac? When I have this problem, I changed browsers, Chrome, and I haven't had the problem.

Same here - Was using IE & this would happen to me regularly- Switched to Chrome & all is good for 3 or 4 months now.

I get that message all the time.

Sometimes it takes me 10 or 15 minutes to navigate around the website before I can finally get into the 99-03 7.3 section.

Probably why I don't get on here nearly as much as I used to.

I find the frequency varies. Today I tried a post that didn't go and had to repost. I haven't had any better success with one browser or the other as I have chrome on one computer and explorer on the other. Yesterday I tried a response and it got totally screwed up and cut out half of the OP's and posted nothing I typed?

Over the years I've had this kind of problem, or "timeouts" when I'm typing a note, only to discover that when I try to post it I get a failure message. Not only in FTE.... After that happened a few times I learned to highlight my note and copy it before I try to post. Then, if I get an error and loose what I've typed, I have a copy saved and don't have to re-type the whole thing before I try to post it again. I just paste the copy in, and try to post it again. Sometimes I even open a Word document to paste my message in until I have a successfull posting.
