exhaust needed

I currently have on my 84 f-150 w/351w shorty headers y-pipe single in dual out muffler. I want to u grade to hooker long tubes which I already have but not installed yet. what should I run from there. true duals, dual in/out muffler or the same one single in/dual out muffler. the engine has a mild cam, punched out .040 over,750 holley edelbrock intake c-4 tranny 3.73 gears 27inch tires. what would be best for this. thanks!

I would run true duals, 2.25 or 2.5 dia pipes, your choice of muffler(Magnaflow or Dynomax Superturbos are my fav) then out the side b4 the rear tire on the passenger side. Another option is to use a Flowmaster Y into a single 3" then muffler... out the side. Good pic of that here: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ader-help.html
