external air temp sensor location?

hey guys,

quick question. since my external air temp sensor is tied into the automatic a/c controls in my vehicle, i was just being paranoid and maybe trying to change it out.

from what i gather, it's around the radiator. anyone know of the exact location? maybe some pics? maybe even the exact procedure to change out the sensor? part number possible?

thanks in advance!

It's behind the grille. If you're looking from the front it's on the right side (driver's side) next to the A/C condenser.

I know that, you know that, but sometimes it's confusing. That's why I qualified my statement about looking at it from the front. It would be impossible to see if he were SITTING in the truck for orientation purposes.

What about Aussies? Their driver's side is the right side, when you are looking from rear to front...

Just saying...

Lol. Thanks guys. Sorry I didn't reply sooner. After I posted it, I somehow wandered outside and casually looked at my grill. I found it on the right of my radiator. Now to get one to replace the current one.

I wish I could reliably relocate mine. During the winter when I plow snow and raise the blade, it blocks the airflow creating an artificially warm OAT and the cabin temp drops like a rock.....brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
