I've never even heard of anyone ever getting in trouble for removing a car but if its illegal then oh well. I can tell you fora fact I ain't gonna use them on whatever my next truck is, but I also live in florida and florida is probably the most opposite state from commiefornia(vehicle regulations wise).
Ok. Can someone show me what a Catalytic converter is and where to get the right one for my truck... Or just any information will help. (Sorry I'm a newbie)

Google 'Bronco Catalytic Converter' - lots of images, most are replacements but you'll get the idea.

The website is more likely to be targeted if people are blatantly telling people to remove emissions equipment, but I have heard of people getting fix-it tickets for lack of emissions equipment. Mostly the street racer crowd and the police are just piling on everything they can.
I've long been a proponent of run what 'ya brung emissions testing. If it passes, it's good. No visuals, no E.O. numbers, etc. If you can pass without a cat, good for you. It's one of those things where 99% of the time you can get away with it. What does that teach you about laws? If you said - 'They only apply when you get caught' you're correct. Same with drug laws. Then you have the fact that the 'elite' violate the law all the time with impunity. To get some attention they'll go after a site like this - and I like it here. So unless you've got a bona-fide off road vehicle don't ask about removing or otherwise defeating emissions equipment. (That's in general for future viewers to make my rant make sense, not directed at beating a dead horse here).
The older I get, the more I like that rap song by NWA from the 90's...
I'll get off my political soap box; I could go all day... And there are other sites where I do...
If you want loud, high flow cats and larger pipes. The older I get the more quiet I want my truck... So I can't be of much help to you.
Instead of straight piping it and making it so loud it can get you in trouble why don't you cut the cat off if you don't emminsions like me and put dual thrush tubes. That is personally my favorite style of exhaust always liked that sound loud and aggressive but not so loud you get in trouble.
