91 Dieseling during acceleration

91 Dieseling during acceleration
I have a 91 F150 302 5spd with 120k that makes a dieseling/pinging sound during acceleration. Any ideas on what are causing this? I have tried using different octane fuels cleaned the injectors with no luck.

An exhaust leak sounds different from pinging. Pinging in the case of a higher mileage engine is probably due to either carbon built up in the pinston or on the spark-plugs or timing a too advanced. Just my 2 cents...
