Help!!!!! i have looked all over the net trying to find out what my air bag light error code is, It is code 25
For a 1998 Ford Ranger Ext.Cab Flareside 3.0 L Manual trans.
Any help you can provide would be GREAT!!!!!!

me too I had some air bag problem for a while, first I had a Code 27, and could not find too much about it so I was able to find a use Passenger Deactivation Switch (PDS) from a local junk yard for about $40.00 Cdn, that fix my problem right away but after 6 months or so a Code 25 appeared which is something is wrong with the PDS itself and it is not the light so after reading that my code 27 was only the light that was burned out I took the light out of my current PDS and put it in the old one which I kept and voila the problem was fixed one more time. I belived that the switch I got from the junk yard is no longer good possibly something with the key switch because as I turn the key back and forth many times sometimes when I started the truck I had no error code for about 30 minutes or so but it always came back. Hope this help, it looks to me that you need a new PDS, you will be able to replace it yourself, it is only 1 connection behind the switch. Good luck
