Normally hang out over in the SD/Diesel forums, but I'm a proud new owner of a 1985 Ranger 4x4 . Has a 6" lift, 33x12.5, 2.8L V6, and a 5 speed. Anything special I should know about this truck? I plan on using it mostly as a run around town truck and will definitely be playing in the mud with it . I'm pretty handy when it comes to working on trucks, but I know nothing about this engine. The exhuast is shot , and the engine is filthy. I'm gonna be cleaning everything up this weekend, and trying to figure out what all I need to do to her to pass VA state inspection. Any tips or things I should look out for?
