rim problem backspacing
Hey guy's.. jus have a small problem with my 78 swb. I need to find out what backspace for my truck, this is a street truck an will be running a drag radial tire etc etc.. I have the rim pick out but want to get the backspacing correct before I order... 10 inch wide,but I don't want it outside the fender,it must be tucked... can anybody pass any info on backspacing for street strip setup,no tubing,nothing shorten...just like it is from the factor.. if it came with a 10inch rim I wouldn't have any problems thanks

Idk if you could tuck a 10" wide rim between the spring and the fender. I have 10" wide rims with 4" backspacing and they stick out but i cant recall how close they are to the spring to know how more backspacing could be had, but i dont think there is enough because the tire you put on there is going to be even wider than the rim.
