simple body lift question

simple body lift question

Im putting a 3 inch body lift on my truck as well as a 4 inch suspension lift. Ive made all the brackets and blocks for my body lift. My only question is will i have to extend my stering stem?

when I installed my body lift, I took the precaution of disconnecting the steering shaft, but was able to reconnect it with no hassle. I will tell you when you install your 4" suspension lift, you will have to have your drive shaft lengthened. At 4" your rear will barely be on the tail shaft.

Your driveshaft should be fine. They're usually still good up to 6" of suspension lift. You shouldn't need a steering shaft extension with only a 3" body lift.
