Need Help

Ok Here we go. I have a 1974 302 just had it bored 40 over. I did not have the heads for it but i had a set of 351w heads. I asked the guy at the machine shop and he said everything that i order should be order for a 302(push rods, rocker arms, plates). I know i need different head bolts and have already order them and are installed. Yesterday I called summit to order pusrods and rocker arms and plates, and the guy told me that if i want to use the head i must get the stud mount machined also so that they are the right hieght. I dont know what to do. I have already spent the money on these head and want to use them but do not want to take them make to the machine shop. any info will help greatly. I hope i can just use 302 parts.

you should be able to just use longer pushrods. Look around on the net, you can't be the first guy to ever use 351 heads on a 302
