differential repair kit

Need a bearing+++ kit to repair the 55-64 Chevy 10 bolt 8.2inch 17 spline pinion in my hot rod truck.

Anybody no where I can get a complete kit?

I did find a kit with all but the shims at Yukon Gear and Axle, but hesitant about finding shims elsewhere and such.

Seen any new such kit being sold anywhere?

2 banana's and a handful of sawdust might work till you can find a 9 inch

I have a 9inch in other trucks and its great alright, but the current setup--differential width/wheel studs/brakes/wheels/tires/E brake cable/drive line/and all the work needed is a little like replumbing the entire house cause the kitchen faucet has a leak.

Oh yes...and $$$$$.

A simple rebuild kit is all that's needed me.

I wasn't being a smart --- But I haven't seen but maybe 5 people mention 10 bolt's in the 12 or so years I've been here. There has got to be more info from guys who normally use them.

Hey Tom. I use a place called "Randy's Ring and Pinion" in the Seattle area. I am sure they have a chain of stores on the west coast and maybe farther. There kit is complete and comes with everything including instructions for setting it up as well as plastic-gauge. My internet is slow right now so I can't Google them for you but I also think they have an on line store. I would not even consider anyone else.
