BJ, as an attendee of the first ever Flatlander Truckfest you've earned free storage. The glass will be safely stored until we can make arrangements to meet up.

Glad to hear Ross made it safely to the world headquarters of Truckstock. I'm sure things will be in fine operating order when the rest of us get there.

Bob, you know that if there are some lingering mechanical issues on the F2 Ross will have your truck in Doc's garage and have it running 100% in no time!

I'll be headed out Thursday night with a stopover in Indy at my sisters. I should roll into Truckstock sometime Friday afternoon. There will be no thoughts of or worries about work while I'm there. See all of you soon.

I have a little condo (bachelor pad right out of college) that I play landlord with. The tenants put a hole in the shower wall 2 weeks ago. I tossed em out, tore the shower out, ordered the tub - it will be here on the 13th (and I will be in KY, not worrying about it at all).

Sometimes you got to do things for your sanity, say to hell with the responsibilities and duties and take a vacation, slow down and enjoy life. Words of wisdom a bit too late I suppose, but to all who are letting work and duty prevent them from taking any vacation - find time
Very well said! I look forward to meeting you.

Thanks and hope you all had a nice weekend.

How many where you?
Jimmy, there will be alot of pictures (and I hope some video) taken. I hope you'll come over and visit us one of these days. I really liked the pictures you posted of the trip on Route 66. Some of those pictures were taken very close to where I live in Central Illinois (mid-way between Chicago and St. Louis).

And it's just 86 degrees. They should have been here last July when it was about 109 degrees with big-time humidity.

Looks like I hit my 1000th post on the Truckstock thread. I mentioned to my wife I was nearing 1000 posts and I got the eye roll again!

I've kept my wife updated on the epic journey of Ross culminating with him arriving in KY last night... and I got the eye roll again!

Who would have thought when I joined FTE in 2011 I'd be making my second trip across the country to meet my internet friends and I'd have hosted some of them at my place. It's a crazy world!

Me too! I'm used to cutting once every two weeks this time of year. This year it's been every week, or break out the bush hog.

Same here. My poor lawnmower looks like something from the movie Road Warrior. Sometimes twice per week, and it still looks awful.

I parked the lawn mower last week, I'll just bring out the bush hog when I get home from Truckstock.

Ross, glad you made it without any issues. I'm feeling like such a sissy! Maybe I'll drive the truck to work soon.

Good thought but my tolerance for livestock is pretty low

I don't really mind log grass though. My wife does though but she's the one who cuts it.
