The Sinister is an OE replacement. That will work fine.

You won't need intake bolts either. But take a look at the coolant flush procedures as well. You need to do some really good flushing of the system.

The other issue is that you have more to do. I would plan on a water pump, t-stat, new hoses, overflow bottle and cap, and flush, flush, flush.

Take A Hose and Stuff in that thing

Run it in the thermostat Hole with Block Drains Open Kinda a Reverse Flush of the Block

Stuff it in the Radiator with Hoses Off Let it Run

Stuff that Hose in the Heater Intakke Hose/Valve

Also when your Oil Cooler is Out Stuff the hOSE IN THE hOLES FOR Coolant supply to Oil Cooler Coming from the front cover

Try to Flush as much of that Junk out as you Can Before you start it with the NEW OIL COOLER

A Good Flush you should be OK just check them Hoses regularly they might get soft But sounds like you caught problem Fast

Have you checked the Oil to see How Low or how many qts are in the cooling system

My oil is still registering only on the low side on the dipstick, so it couldn't have been more than a quart or two. I went from my house to the church, to my parents, and back to my house, total of two miles round trip. I went back and checked, nothing on the ground at the church. A little on the ground at my folks place, and more at my house when I arrived home.

I put in a new t-stat a few months ago, wish I'd have kept the old one now... I'm going to flush as much as possible. I really hope I don't have to add a water pump to this job...

Flush it good like Benny said. Dump some simple green in it after with water and let it circulate with no t-stat in. Then flush some more. The simple green will help loosen the oil out of the system. You can try to save it all.

If the water pump ends up pushing air after this it will cavitation will eat the front cover up. Then you have bigger problems. So flush, flush, flush...
