I have a 1987 F150 XLT Lariat single cab and I would like to find some bucket seats for it. The truck is Shadow Blue Metallic; paint code 7B and it has a full-bench seat with the fold down "cupholder" if you want to call it that as it does not fit any cup or mug.
Any recommendations?
I found an excellent all wood center console with a styrofoam liner and I could stain it darker to match my trim. It is just me and my dog so this is something that I have wanted to do for a long time.
I am having a tough time in that when I receive an e-mail that someone has replied to my thread when I click on the link it is irrelevent to the original post so I contacted "headquarters." I am hopeful that they can explain what I am doing wrong.
The seats from a Bronco will work just fine, just remember to take all the hardware with you, and be ready to drill some holes, but that should be all.
I am running 89' Bronco bucket seats in my truck. The bracket for them had the right shape to bolt to the floor in my truck, but there were no holes for them. I simply out them where they seemed right, drilled 4 holes per seat and used all new grade 8 hardware to bolt them in. I use large washers to help prevent the bolts from ripping through the floor. Been a couple of months and a ~1000 miles and no issues. I absolutely LOVE the 89' buckets. They have loads of support and are really comfortable.
