VIN check
Not sure if this is the right place to be, but I need to make sure make sure I have the right engine figured out in my E-series motor home. The numbers I got are: VIN-7H956 Chassis No-E37HHBJ1199
I hope someone can help me out, I think it has the 351 engine, but I need to make sure as I have some parts to price out. Thanks

Scroll down Tech Tools and you find a VIN Decoder
But you have to put in a 17 digit number

There is no such VIN.
FORD usually puts an emission sticker under the hood or on radiator support that ID's which motor. Sticker inside driver's door shows motor code.
Shouldn't even need to use VIN.
