Question

ENGINE - VIN- NUM ?

Were is the engine vin number found on my truck? 82-F-100. Is it on the sticker on top of the grill,in front of radiator? Isnt it soupposed to start with eather A or E ? Mine dosent seem to have it. or Im looking in the wrong place.Help please! thanks in advance.

The engine code is part of you VIN number, it is the 8th character in your 17 digit VIN.

Engine codes for you 82 F100 are E or Y, 300 I-6, F 302, 3 3.8L V6
